This yarn is a 2-ply bulky weight worsted spun yarn for hand knitting. It has about 66 yards per 100g, and is made of the dense, plush wool of Merino sheep living happily in Wyoming. Merino are known for their soft, fine wool. This yarn is best for scarves, hats, and other next-to-skin garments and accessories. It is very soft, and therefore not ideal for an accessory such as socks.
The wool is washed, carded and spun in a family-owned mill in Wyoming. Yarns are dyed by hand in San Francisco with sustainably harvested plants and bugs.
CARE
Hand wash by soaking in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, let soak for 10-15 min before gently squeezing out water. (Use a towel to press out moisture if necessary.) Lay flat and air dry in the shade.
